Abstract (EN)

The Pütürge Massif, is a NE-SW-trending,~50 km long and 300m accross, and is constraind by the subsidary faults. This study deals with metamorphic conditions and age of the Pütürge Massif, and metamictization in the zircon.İn the study area, the Pütürge metamorphics and also neighborhood area consists of Maden Complexs. The Pütürge metamorphics comprise predominantly ortho gnaise, granitic gnaise, mica schiste, amphibolite, calcschiste and marbles Maden Comlexs comprises andesite, basalt, basaltic andesite.Zircon is a common accessory phase in magmatic, metamorphic and sedimantery rocks. Mineral assemblages of augen granitic gneiss consist of K-feldspate+ quartz+ biotite +chlorite + apatite+ zircon+ opac minerals and mineral assemblages of biotite schist consist of biotite+ quartz+ muscovite (chlorite)+ plagioclase (albite)+ apatite+zircon+ opac minerals. Zircons from granitic gneisse and ortho-gneisse were mineralogically and texturally characterized by inductively Couples Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and Katodoluminecans (CL) metods. These zircons show a variable degree of metamictization. Zircons have textural and chemical variety which presents characteristic of metamict and partly metamict. Metamict zircons are high REE, U, Th content. Whereas partly zircons are more low REE, U, Th. These grains show that oscillatory and porous texture with inclusions of thorite, xenotime. These observations suggest that variety of variety in the zircon probably associated with fluids and metamorphism conditions in the modarate temperatures. Furthermore, U-Pb isotope from zircon mineral was determined 300-350 Ma and Ar-Ar from biotite isotope analyses 83.21±0.069 of studied metamorphic rock are arrived to Santonien aged of metamorphsm. Keywords: Prograt metamorhism, zircon, CL metotds, isotope
