Abstract (EN)
Aim: İt has been prepared to examine factors affecting bone mineral density during fallowings of women with nonmetastatik breast cancer applying to Radiation Oncology Polyclinic of Medicine Faculty of Dicle University and receving treatment. Methods: The patients with nonmetastatic breast cancer appliying to Radiation Oncology Polyclinic of Medicine Faculty of Dicle University before january 1,in 2007 were retrospectively examined. The patients operated surgery with diagnosis of breast cancer and fallowing received chemotherapy and radiotherapy were estimated without having been looked at their menapoze conditions.A part of patients had been started antihormonal treatment because of hormone receptor positivity. The patients had been made bone nineral density measurement with a year interval.İn the first measurement, those diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporose were given treatments of vitamin D,calcium or biphosponates.During the second measurement,40 patients who have stil had nonmetastatic breastcancer were accepted into the study.Effects of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, antihormonal and biphospanate treatmens on bone mineral density of patients were investigated.Findings: Difference between femur and lomber DXA resuts hasn?t occurred according to radiotherapy before and after treatment. This result has shown is that RT applied to different fields doesn?t have negative effect. There isn?t statistically difference between groups in femur and lomber BMD,and T scores according to positivitiy or negativitiy of hormone receptors are especially much more high. There isn?t difference between femur DXA results before and after treatment according to condition taken treatment which events take, but, between lomber DXA results.İt has only been occurred difference in Aİ use (p=0.031).Conclusion: Women patients with breast cancer are in much more risk than healthy persons in the same old year group.İn our study,we observed that RT applied to different fields(breast chest wall, supraclavicular fossa and aksiler region) didn?t have negative effect.İn FAC+FEC group of patients taken chemotherapy, statistical improvement between scores were only established.İt was observed that both lomber and femur BMD?s of those with negative hormon receptor are much more.Between lomber DXA resuts of those taken osteoporosis treatment, difference during only BFS use occurred. There isn?t difference between DXA results before and after treatmentaccording to antihormonal treatment that events take, but, between DXA result, difference during only Aİ use occurred.Key words: Early phase breast cancer, osteoporosis, dxa, biphosphonat, aromataz inhibitörs.
