Except for the context, utilization on the context of education of values from the book of Yürekdede with Padişah

While information technologies communication and transportation are developing instantly in the world, there is erosion in traditions improving centuries in national values. There is an exposition to pressure of universal stations. İt is exposed to a variation that is not expected. Problems are also come across: national and universal norms of values are not determined and taught. Values of humanity lost. While materialistic culture values are increasing, moral culture values are decreasing; naturally balance of culture loses its possessions. Those who are aware of the cliff between materialistic and moral culture put forward programs to decrease the variation via education. And they also put forward programs to liven up old emotions. These programs re called as 'education of values'. Values like friendship , honesty, patience , love, patriotism that exist spontaneously have been started to be taught in schools recently . From now on school life is designed as a place that information and values are blended. From this point of view schools don't give just information. When we consider the relationship between language and culture, language education is important for education of values. All texts and words taught to the children contain the prints of cultural codes. So the texts used in language teaching shouldn't be chosen for just teaching a word or teaching to develop language ability. While the texts give the language education they should also teach the values. Thematic education become valid since 2005 is carried to according to this method When we consider the names of the themes we can observe the mentioned principle. For example the unit of ATATÜRK teaches Turkish history and Turkish people .the unit 'individual and community 'teaches traditions , the unit of values teaches important stations and facts, the unit ' beautiful country Turkey 'teaches patriotism, the unit 'national culture' teaches materialistic and moral crops. The 'love' unit teaches to act emphatically and mercifully .But it is difficult to teach these emotions with the books distributed in schools . they should also be supported in real life .İt can be true in the family with the help of family members .But it can cause spontaneous learning's . To avoid spontaneous learning we should advise students to read the texts prepared with the aim of mentioned values. Thus Turkish lesson aiming to teach self-confident students, aiming to teach students expressing themselves can be taught both according to purposes above and according to values that Ministry of education follows. Students can both increase their word capacity by reading and can learn new information and values consciously and spontaneously. The book 'Yürekdede and Padişah' contains the texts of education of values. With the help of the book students can improve their leanings acquired in schools. Book starts with the sentence 'bir varmiş bir yokmuş'. Yürekdede losts his donkey and buys a camel. Every year he goes their village with his wife 'Ayşe Nine'. They see brigands there he cuts his camel to satisfy the brigands. he and his wife aren't aware of the Padişah among the brigands . Padişah says him that he should say his wish to the padişah in the mosque on Friday. But he doesn't want to say his wish on Friday because he believes that only god can give what people want. This is the first story in the book. Hz. Süleymanla Kirpi and Köyümüze Yağdi Karlar follow the rest. These stories contain the values like justice , not being greedy , hospitality , patriotism, empathy . This work is focused on which parts of book can be used for the education of mentioned values
