Abstract (EN)

At the first part of the study, the purpose, the scope and the method of the study is given then at the second part, definition, structure, types, history and applications of the photovoltaics is explained. Third part of the study, existing residental buildings which are photovoltaic panel systems are applied is examined. These examples are examined under three main headings which are applications of pitched roof, flat roofand facade. Efficiency of these systems will be compared under these three headings. At the forth part of the study, İzmir introduced and then the data about weather condition and sunshine duration is given for to be designed photovoltaic systems. At this part also, general types of housing is be mentioned at the İzmir. The photovoltaic panel system will be implemented in Soyak Mavişehir housing estate, is at Karşıyaka. At the fifth and the last part of the study, example of İzmir and the other examples in the third part of the study are compared and examined.
