Abstract (EN)
Sufism shaped within the harmony of Islam and Turkish culture within the Turkish-Islamic tradition; it has concept definitions and views of life in itself. Islam is already its cause and ultimate purpose. One of the most important figures of the Sufi tradition is Mewlana Jalal Al-Din. The purpose of this thesis is; It is to look at how Mewlana Jalal Al-Din Rumi defines the concept of reason, what meaning he implies and how he classifies it. The main effort of this research; it deals with the following and similar questions from a philosophical point of view. What are the historical processes of the concept of mind? According to Mewlana Jalal Al-Din Rumi, what sort of meaning does the concept of mind mean? Is there a link between functional mind and complete mind? Do our feelings matter about processing information? What role do perceptions, minds and emotions play in acquiring knowledge? What is the state of mind standing in the middle when love and nafs clash? What are the types of information we use to define the complete and limited mind? How many mind classifications does Mewlana make? How can the complete and limited mind be defined? Can a rational being without any emotions make a moral law? Is human understanding really related to the question of why? This study looks for answers to these and many other questions. Key words: mind, intuition, love, complete mind, functional mind
