Abstract (EN)

Meyxanas are important verbal culture product and placed in Azerbaijan oral folk literature. With the unique aspects, they are not found else where but in the Turkish world. In terms of its features, also this literature genre should be considered as an indicator of Turkish culture and Turkish language which is reached a high asthetic level. Meyxanas, coming from ancient times and are understood that they received much more things from minstrelsy tradition, are both a part in a life lived and also a mirror reflecting that life with every aspect. In this respect, it can be said that meyxanas are as lively and variable as life which is lived. This life, living and reflected, at the same time is a Turkish culture, which is living and lively. As a result, the language of meyxanas are like giving out sound from the summits of Turkish language This study consists of intruduction, analysis and text sections with transcipt. The definitions are done in the introduction part and information about their historical features and types are given Moreover, nowadays the type, continuing of living, big representatives of which are introduced.In the analysis section, it is laid emphasis on syntax of the meyxanas book, translated with transcript. The analysis section is made under the two titles of "Phrase" and "Sentence and Types". In this section, descriptions of the word group and sentence are done, the types are classified and samples of texts are displayed. Related to all structures and units, the opinions of the researchers, studied on this field are placed. In the text section the book named meyxanas written with Azerbaijan Turkish and Cyrillic Alphabet are translated into modern - day Turkish with transcript letters.The book named meyxanas consists of five sections and twenty-one meyxanas of poets. These sections are about Gel Oturub Diz – Dize Men Deyim Meyxaneni, Oturmusan Semavardan Yuxarı, Gör Nece Bir Zad Eledi Gorbaçov, Gessab Ki Var, Gelmez Dine, Messebe, Müellifler hakkındadır.At the end of the study, the resources used are indicated.
