Abstract (EN)
Studies on journals/magazines are of great importance in the field of language and literature. Journals/magazines especially published in the old alphabet, are becoming more important in these studies because they cannot read the current alphabet. Because of these publications stories, novels, poems, travel articles, biographies, articles, essays and many other articles were written. Various works have been done on these works written in old alphabet, continue to be made and will be continued in the following years. The examination of these works in terms of both literary and linguistic features will contribute to the field of Turkish language and literature and will also expand the content of our field. In this context, there are many large and small journals / magazines which are still waiting to be worked on. This study is based on the text of Mihrab, which has not been studied on text, dictionary and vocabulary. The study was limited to the story texts in the magazine. There are twelve stories and translations in the magazine which give information about the social and cultural life of the period. Some of the stories deal with historical issues, some of them sit on a philosophical ground and some have philosophical content. The interaction of stories with philosophy and history is in line with the principles of publication. Because the magazine itself "moral, social, philosophical, historical and literary" is as described. In this study, the translation of the stories to the contemporary letters and the dictionary studies were made. It is aimed to reveal the language and style of the period through these studies. In this context, first of all the Ottoman texts were translated into contemporary letters, the the words of these texts were translated and an analysis was made on the language of the texts and the dictionary of the texts was prepared.
