Abstract (EN)
Silage maize is widely used animal feeding and preferred because of its high nutritional properties. In this study, the effects of mycorrhiza application and different fertilization dose on the yield and yield related traits of silage maize was investigated in the experimental areas of Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, Akdeniz University in 2017. The experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with three replications. Parameters such as plant height (cm), node height with cob (cm), stem diameter (mm), leaf number (number), yield (kg/da), plant weight (g/plant), cob length (cm), cob diameter (mm) , dry matter rate (%), leaf ratio (%), stem ratio (%), cob ratio (%) and dry matter yield (kg/da): were examined in the presented study. According to the results of obtained from this study, the highest fresh herbage yield 8136.3 (kg/da) was obtained from only full fertilization application and the highest dry matter yield 2814.7 kg/da was obtained from both mycorrhiza application and full fertilization. Other parameters were statistically evaluated. Consequently, effect of mycorrhiza application on silage maize yield was determined insignificant. However, certain traits related yield was affected by mycorrhiza application.
