Abstract (EN)

A theoretical model for a previously developed micro-mechanical resonator mass-detector (with integrated diffraction-gratings) based on high-sensitivity displacement measurements by diffraction-grating interferometry, is developed for utilization in bio-chemical mass sensing applicatons. The model is verified by theoretical examples and an experimental testing procedure. The detection of a specific protein-antibody, human K(Kappa)-opioid (hKOR) receptor protein and hKOR-antibody, interaction is demonstrated as an example of a selective bio-sensing application.
