Abstract (EN)
Çorum city, which was an exile place of the period of the Ottoman Empire and Republic, had been a place in which the rebel mouements were experienced.Çorum city, always showed respect against the managers of the state and always saved being a city which did all the arders of them. Because of this, Çorum city knew performing every duty and responsibilities which were wanted him whether in the National struggle or in Repuplic term. It has been an important center with the transportation of arms, military supplies and stareble foods. The city not only satisfied with servind the needs but also it didn?t allow the expansion of the events that took place arount it. It gave same social, culturel and economic help to developing the new state by following the reforms and innovations which were being real with declaration of the Republic that was a fruit of the success which was won at the end of the planned and disciplined works.
