Abstract (EN)
In this study, the antae of the ancient buildings with architectural order in the Lycian Region were focused on. Thus, it was aimed to contribute to the ancient architecture of the region, which has not been sufficiently studied. In addition to the examples of the antae in 32 buildings, two possible anta capital finds were evaluated as catalogue examples. The bases, shafts and capitals of the antae were discussed in the first three chapters in terms of typological, stylistic and technical aspects in comparison with each other and examples from the whole Mediterranean. Members with similarities to the antae, such as piers and corner or wall pilasters, which are not included in the antae, were also used as comparison examples. In order not to lose sight of the whole during this focus study, the historical and structural connections of the buildings or finds were also analysed in the fourth chapter. In the light of all these analyses, findings revealing the distant and close connections of the buildings were reached. The development of the antae in Lycia from the fourth century BC to the third century AD was revealed. In places, data that will contribute to the dating discussions of the buildings were obtained. Theories were created on workshop connections. Based on the antae, new perspectives were introduced on the architectural order, plan system and function of the buildings. In the Lycian Region, which seems to have adapted to Hellenic architecture relatively late, it is concluded that the antae as an architectural order practice was shaped by external influences, while the power to influence the outside was weak.
