Abstract (EN)
From modernism to present space-time relations keep changing and with our daily file places one described and understood with new faces and new lines. In this context, in architecture, the affection of time and space is differing. Observed in this frame, architecture, existing in an approach that directs the modern society dynamics, keeps its presence in parallel with the art and philosophy histories. The presence of the architecture in coordination with different disciplines in the same time, as the development of design and application durations are observed, the definition of the architecture time relations remains to be strong. Actually, time in architecture can be handled. In different points of views in different shemes. But to reflect the point of view in whole of the research and to put forward the system of the research, it is necessary to define the meanings of time in architecture. Our intend is to discuss time in architecture in a conceptional view in two different meanings. Hence, the definitions, concepts and views discussed in the first chapter forms the outline of theVI other chapters. In this work, space concept is examined through historical duration and place perception and an analytic study is put forward in these subjects. In space concept, from post to present, many concepts from being ever lasting to visuality are examined by connecting the new to the old. The relations of space concept in the architecture field and the charges in relations of space and time, from past to present, are discussed. Our intend is to investigate the space concept, in this manner, in architecture again. In the content this then is in the 2. chapter, the frame of the space concept is drawn. This was done, shortly, spacing the definitions, approachs, views and discussions about the topic of space. The existence of time in place is directly related with the place concept and it's features. In order to seize this kind of time understanding, it is necessary to define those on which duration relies. These are important indicators to point out the lines of place. In the 3.chapter place is examined extensively. Firstly, the features of space are defined by means of many classifications. Space is a multi-faced concept. It is examined through primitive, perceptional, existencial, holy, absolute, geographic, conceptional, abstract, social, positive, negative, inner and outer spaces with samples. The first of the time - dependant classifications, a condition related with the historical duration of space with timeless - architecture and the otter is the point of view that investigates the space - time relation from the time dependant prehistoric period to present.VII In the last chapter; the space and time relations of the time and place concepts changing from modernism to present was examined with samples. In many fields, from the spaces changing with our daily life to the spaces in metropolis life, many investigations were hold, by examining the relations between technology and architecture, the role of technology and micro spaces / visual places etc. were in the target of the study.
