Özet (EN)

In this study, mini/micro channels produced from two different materials, stainless steel and Poly Ether Ether Ketone (PEEK), in three different diameters, were used in five different volumetric flow rates of pure water, and theoretical calculations were made, using the data of the previous experimental study as reference, and then computational fluid dynamics was performed. Computer-aided analysis was carried out with the (HAD) program. Heat transfer, pressure drop, Nusselt number and heat transfer coefficient were examined with experimental and CFD analyses. According to the experimental measurements and numerical analysis results, the highest heat transfer value in the experimental study was obtained as 40,60 Watt in the 750 μm diameter stainless steel mini/micro pipe, and the highest pressure loss value was 16,11 bar in the 400 μm diameter stainless steel mini/micro pipe. According to the analysis carried out with the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, the highest heat transfer values were 32,4 Watt according to the analysis results performed according to the laminar flow regime, and 73,88 Watt according to the analysis results carried out according to the turbulent flow regime. was obtained in the pipe. According to CFD analyses, the highest pressure loss values were obtained in the 400 μm diameter stainless steel mini/micro pipe as 3,59 bar as a result of the analyzes performed according to the laminar flow regime and as 25,65 bar as a result of the analyzes performed according to the turbulent flow regime.
