Minimal non FC (or CC)-groups

MINIMAL NON FC(OR CQ-GROUPS (Ph.D. Thesis) Sevgi ATLIHAN GAZI UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY July 2000 ABSTRACT In this thesis we consider the locally graded minimal non FC (or CC) - groups. Minimal non-FC groups and minimal non CC- groups arc considered for the first time by V.V. Belyaev (see[l]) and J. Otal- J.M. Pena respectively (see[l 1 J). M Kuzucuoglu and R.E. Phillips proved that a perfect locally finite minimal non FC - group must be a p-group (see [2]). In this thesis the relations between locally finite minimal non CC-group and locally finite minimal non FC-group are considered. Furthermore a characterization was given for locally finite minimal non FC (or CC) - groups Finally we have given some results related to subnormal join property (SJP) for locally finite minimal non FC (or CC) - groups.
