Abstract (EN)

In classical Turkish literature, masnavi verse form has an important place. This form of verse has been admired by poets for centuries and important works have emerged. The subject of this thesis study we have done is Nigârnâme, written in Mesnevi verse form by Mîr Hamza Nigârî, is one of these important works. The work consists of 4554 couplets and 25 ghazals placed between each event. Our study consists of two parts. In the introduction part of the first part, information about the Mesnevi verse form is given. Following this, brief preliminary information about the work was given. Studies about the work are given. It has been mentioned how important this masnavi is. Divide under other headings respectively; The purpose, importance, limitations and assumptions of our research are explained. In the second part, the author's life is briefly mentioned and information about his affiliation is explained. In this section, information about his pseudonym, literary personality and work is given. Again in the continuation of the work; Verse form, meter, aruz elements and rhyme characteristics are examined and explained with examples. In our study, the work was examined under the headings of Nigârnâme's language and writing features, stylistic features, content, subject, heroes and the results were stated. Finally, Within the scope of Nigârnâme's Intralingual Translation of Turkish Poems and Turkish Literature Contextual Index Project (TEBDİZ), the vocabulary of the work was processed on the system.
