Formation of material for teaching different functions of past perfect form of unit by means of techniques on raising consciousness

The purpose of this Study is to create material towards teaching of ?-mİş? form unit with technique of rising conscience to the students learning Turkish as foreign language.In out Study first of all learning theories which we thought they were associated with conscience rising technique has been dealt with and methods and principles for teaching foreign language have been included. Because of its association with the conscience rising technique universal grammar concept has been emphasized and its comparison with conventional grammar has been made.In all materials prepared for form unit the trio of form, meaning and usage has been taken into consideration. The materials have been so prepared as compatible with computer environment, and backed up with various events and studies. Each utilization area, function of the structure has been separately given; an inductive method has been observed. At the implementation phase of the conscience rising method utmost care has been taken for such activities as drawing attention, increases of entries.Formal varieties of the grammar structure have not been given to the student as ready for use; we have tried to ensure that the student may study on them through their mental processes in order that they may transform into an entry in the student. It has been aimed that the Student may use their previous knowledge related with their target language in order to construct the new information.Attractive Audio and visual stimulants have .been also used in the materials so prepared. The presented texts have been selected not only as simple dialogues but also from samples of Turkish Folk (popular) Culture such as narration, story and tale. It is hereby thought that the activity pool attached to the end of the Thesis however would be helpful to teacher to the effect that it may provide different facilities.
