Abstract (EN)

Various solutions have been developed for nutrition and survival since the existence of human beings. One of these traces is hunting. Hunting is one of humanity's oldest transitional resources and one of the most important examples of human interaction with nature. In the period extending from the Paleolithic period to the present day, there have been significant developments in hunting techniques and equipment. These developments are very important for human beings to adapt to nature and their environment and increase their chances of survival. Archaeological findings indicate that hunting was widely practiced in Anatolia since the Neolithic period. During the Anatolian Civilizations period, hunting had an important place not only for nutritional purposes but also for religious and cultural purposes. The development of hunting has progressed in parallel with the development of humankind. Communities living in Anatolia used hunting both to meet their basic needs and to build their cultural identities. While hunting is a basic activity that ensures the survival of human beings, today it is continued as both a sport and a source of income.
