Internet based an electronic exam system developed for mobile devices and usability evaluation

Nowadays, mobile communication sector is developing rapidly. Many features of mobile devices such as decreasing prices of mobile devices, providing many sophisticated talents, reaching an information that needed, at any time at anywhere, increasing usage area. M-learning education can be used like supporting traditional, used for the purpose of distance education.In this study, an online examination system for preperation of student for real exams was develeoped. Students can reach the exams prepared by this system at anytime and anywhere via PC or mobile devices. After developing the system, effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction are evalueted by usability tests. For reaching online examination system via mobile devices. WAP technology and developing special software for mobile communication systems are used.
