One of the mobile applications developed to facilitate the daily lives of individuals in parallel with population increase is aimed at the problem of parking space or the problem of reaching the parked vehicles. There are some applications that use the navigation system named as GPS (Global Positioning System) for the parking problem. GPS system can be used where the internet connection is available by reason of the fact that it gets the data via the internet network. These applications are not able to report the correct location because there is internet connection problem in the closed areas especially in the car parks located on the basement floor of shopping centres. In the case of GPS system doesn't work in the car parks of shopping centres, it can be used the navigation system named as IPS (Indoor Positioning System) which has the capability of giving the location information without the internet connection. IPS system can calculate the location using all or a few of radio receiver signals and the detector on the phones. From this point of view, it is targeted in this study to make user centred interface design for the mobile application which enables to be given the correct location information by matching the signals on the phones with the detector system in the car parks, in order to find a parking space or to reach the parked vehicle in the car parks of shopping centres by using IPS system.
