Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, in the field of industry and commerce, heavy loads have to be removed by various methods and moved from one place to another. Mobile cranes in order to overcome these tasks are in common use. One of the problems that prevent the safe and long-lasting operation of mobile cranes and trigger other problems over time is the deflection in mobile crane booms. While the shear deflection in the steel structures such as bridges built in our country is calculated experimentally and theoretically; such a calculation in the boom structures of mobile cranes is made more theoretically. With rapid development of reverse engineering, deflection measurement was conducted at mo-bile crane booms using photogrammetric techniques and high accuracy results were obtained in a short time. Also, load chart of mobile crane was provided to crane operator for his more reliable service. Thus, occupational-work accidents have been reduced, the time losses resulting from continuous failure prob-lems have been minimized and the service life of mobile cranes has been increased. Otherwise the deflec-tion in the mobile crane boom is theoretically calculated by Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in the ANSYS program. As a result, it is proven the usability of the calculation of the deflection in industrial applications with the photogrammetric method in mobile cranes.
