Özet (EN)
Many developments experienced throughout history have affected human and social life, as well as the art environment. While developments and historical events come to life in the works of artists, sometimes as a subject and sometimes as a form and material, it has made itself felt. The fondness for innovation that started in artists with modernism has caused the understanding of art and the art object to change rapidly. Some artists who are in search of a new form have adopted the attitude of abstraction and simplification in their works, inspired by the objects that exist around them. Especially artists who use nature as an intermediary have produced soft and difficult to define forms through organic abstraction. While the technological developments have made the art material more workable, they have also allowed new alternative materials to participate in the art environment. Thanks to these developments, artists have started to use not only the form but also the material freely while transferring their feelings and thoughts to their art. While the traditional view about the permanence and durability of a work of art has been replaced by the idea of creating a new and different one over time, artists have started to produce using all kinds of materials that exist around them. Artists who want to give the audience an experience through art have been almost completely liberated in terms of materials in art production since the 1960s. The fact that live animals and plants started to be used as art materials during this period has created a very surprising and questioning effect for society.
