Abstract (EN)

Maritime transportation is one of the most strategic sectors forming the backbone of global trade. This sector requires not only timely and effective collaboration but also proper management processes during crises. The use of modern communication tools significantly enhances these processes, providing substantial benefits to the industry. This study examines the effects of modern communication tools on collaboration and crisis management in maritime transportation. It focuses on the utilization of digital platforms, real-time data sharing, artificial intelligence-based decision support systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The research highlights how these modern technologies improve cooperation among ship captains, port authorities, and logistics providers, enhance operational efficiency, and enable rapid response during crises. In the context of crisis management, particular emphasis is placed on the role of these technologies in coordinating vessel movements during disasters, preventing maritime accidents, and minimizing environmental damage. Additionally, the study underscores how modern communication tools strengthen the culture of collaboration in the industry and foster trust among stakeholders. In conclusion, modern communication tools are found to transform collaboration and crisis management processes in the maritime transportation sector, contributing significantly to its sustainability and safety. The findings suggest that further integration of modern communication technologies is essential for the future success of the maritime industry.
