Appeal of products to consumers has come to the fort as well as production of best qualityproducts by today?s technological advencement. Manufacturers should produce products thatanswer to the client needs and expectations by optimizing the quality, time, and cost. The keyfactor for this is establishing international quality management standards in companies.Continuous improvement is the base for modern quality management systems that aredesigned according to the international standards. In continuous improvement, severalmethods and techniques are used to effectively improve process performances that aredetermined by interactions between humans and machines. Statistical process control providesaway to track process status and deviations and to adjust process periods by means of statiscalmethods and tools.In this study, preperation of a model for control cards and of a system suitable for their users,workers, is investigated in the frame of continuous improvement. One of the goals of thisstudy is the suggestion of a model for practical application of precontrol cards. It is aimed toincrease the process capability by improvig standard variance width and limits of interventionin process level changes.Shainin design of experiment (DoE) is used during product development and design as well asduring manufacturing of products to prevent probable defects or to find existing defects. InShainin DoE, it is aimed to make improving suggestions in pilot and manufacturing processesby using multi-vari charts and to develop a process performance improving system forworkers in automotive supplier industry.Key Words: Modern quality system, International Quality Standards, ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, Continuous Improvement, Quality Techniques, Statistical Process Control, Precontrol,Design of Experiment.JURY:1.
