Abstract (EN)
In this study, we tried to compare with Thomas Hobbes and John Locke by revealing their understanding of property. But before we did, we tried to inform them about the common positions in their political philosophy and where they differ on these issues. First, we have given Hobbes the basic ideas in the understanding of political philosophy. Then we dealt with his understanding of property. In the second part, we gave the basic ideas in Locke's understanding of political philosophy. Then we dealt with his understanding of property. Chapter Three; How Hobbes and Locke differ on the same issues and how they affect their understanding of property has been discussed
