Abstract (EN)
The essays described as introduction or prologues have a great importance in Turkish poetry. The prologues of ?Makber?, ?Zemzeme (3)?, ?Piyale?, ?Garip? by Abdülhak Hâmid Tarhan, Recaizade Mahmud Ekrem, Ahmet Hâsim and Orhan Veli recpectively have been the considerable essays of the Turkish poetry. Ecpect Necip Fazıl?s ?Poetika?, evaluated as epilogue, une can state that epilogues are not valuable as prologues. Our study has researched the prologues and epilogues of poem boks published between Tanzimat literature and 2006. The prologues not belonging to the writer himself, have not been included within the research. During the study it is determined that prologues and epilogues were generally prose or verse respectively. Only 65 of 259 prologues and 35 of 41 epilogues were in verse. Our study was composed of four main sections that each one contains the proses and verses classifications within themselves. The terms of ?prologue? is explained in the introduction part. The first main section in which 46 proses and 18 essay in verses were evaluated has the headline of ?The Prologues with Poetic Style?. The second main section where 148 proses and 47 essays in verses were evaluated was named as ?The Prologues With No Poetic Style?. The third section was named as ?The Epilogues With Poetic Style? and was composed of evaluations of 4 proses and 3 essays in verses. The fourth main section was named as ?The Prologues With No Poetic Style? and 2 proses and 32 essays in verses were analyzed within. In the final section, in addition to the descriptions for poem, results of the research were also given.
