Özet (EN)

Within the scope of this thesis, analysis and optimization of a cementless modular hip prosthesis under static and dynamic effects with the finite element method has been carried out. The newly designed total hip prosthesis prototype has been transferred to the computer environment using 3D laser scanning technology. 3D CAD model has been analyzed under static dynamic effects with the finite element method, and the effectiveness of the existing prosthesis design has been examined. Then, by changing the design parameters and material properties, the optimum prosthesis design has been tried to be obtained by taking into account the stress shielding effect, fatigue effects and wear effects. Static, fatigue and wear simulations were performed with ANSYS finite element software by taking into account the boundary conditions, loading conditions and wear conditions specified in ISO 7206-4, ISO 7206-6, ISO 14242-1 and ASTM F2996-20 standards for which the laboratory tests on hip prostheses and for finite elements simulation standards were defined. Obtained results were compared with literature studies.
