Özet (EN)
In this study, design of moment resisting and concentrically braced multi-storey steel structures were made according to Turkish Building Earthquake Code 2018 (TBEC-2018). Design Rules of Calculation and Construction Requirements of Steel Structures Codes-2016 and Turkish Building Earthquake Code-2018 are used for the dimensioning of the 5 and 10 storey type of house buildings. Equivalent Seismic Load Method has been used for linear earthquake load calculations of 5-storey building and also Mode Combination Method has been used for 10-storey building. These structures have been designed by generating load combinations according to Load and Resistance Factor Design Method. SAP2000 v.20.0 program has been used for design and structural analysis of moment resisting and concentrically braced steel frame systems with high ductility level.
