Abstract (EN)
Culture and cultural diversities have gradually became noticeable and valid entities among human relations in the world where human interactions from various coutries have been incrising day by day. Identify the management according to cultural differences and to manage existing differences successfully has became on of the components of business management as a necessity nowadays. In this context, there are variety of organizational and individual strategies for managing cultural differences, one of the most important strategy from this strategies is motivation. As a matter of fact, one of the main sources of the success of the global leaders is that they should understand the different sets of motivating motivations for the employees working in the intercultural level and perform managerial practices accordingly. In order to achieve organizational goals in organizations, to perform successfully and to survive in the market depends on the efficient and effective use of their resources. One of the most important and valuable resources of organizations is employees.Today human element in working life has proven to be the highest value.To make people work effectively best way is to fınd the ways how to motivate them. Employer should see human resourses as values which need investment and should act accordingly. People want to work in environments where their feelings and thoughts are valued, basic needs and development needs are met, they are effective in the success of enterprises by using authority and they are rewarded according to their motivation profiles.In organizations, it is the duty of the managers to constantly search for the factors that will make the employees happy and peaceful and reach these factors. To understand whether employee is motivated or not managmnet should see it from their behavior. The above mentioned concerns the tourism sector in particular. The success of accommodation businesses in the tourism sector, which has a labor-intensive feature, depends largely on employee productivity. For this reason, accommodation companies have to implement motivating incentives in order to increase employee performance and improve total productivity and effectiveness.Because motivation is one of the factors that emerge in all areas of life, especially affecting success in working life. In the literature, Hofstede argued that employees from different cultures can be motivated in different ways."Different cultural backgrounds have different effects on the relative importance of motivational motives" according to this the main purpose of this study is to determine the internal and external motivation factors of the hotel employees in different cultures and to determine the differences in terms of demographic variables. The study consists of three parts; in the first part, motivation issues and theorems were explained, in the second part, literature research on culture was included, and in the third part, data and findings were presented for research. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference between the internal and external motivation levels of Turkish, Italian and Georgian hotel employees, although general motivation levels did not differ significantly from their gender and marital status, but there is a significant difference according to age groups and educational levels.
