Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, it is seen that the human resources' role on businesses is being taken in the foreground. Therefore, the worker's high level of job satisfaction and motivation will highly effect thier job performance. The decreasing performance of workers of firms, where contrary situations take place, is causing a decline in job performance by causing important problems. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on job performance. It is also aimed to determine whether there is a role of job satisfaction's mediating variable in the effect of motivation on the job performance. Further, in this research it is examined whether workers' motivation, job performance and job satisfaction levels differ according to some demographic factors. The extent of this study, which is conducted to reach the aforementioned purposes, involves employees of a private textile firm that is in business in Hatay. According to the findings of the research, motivation and job satisfaction affect job performance affirmatively. Besides, it is determined that there is a positive effect of motivation on job performance. On the other hand, it is determined that there is not a mediating role of the job satisfaction's in the effect of motivationon job performance. It is detected that the motivation of workers differs in regards to age variable. The workers' job satisfaction levels differs in regard of educaitonal and age variable. As for the workers' job performance levels differ in regards to marital status and age variable. KEYWORDS Motivation, Job performance, Job satisfaction
