Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it was aimed to compare the data obtained with the images obtained by the UAV and the measurement data in order to determine the within row distances in corn plantings. Trial method the items named "No-fly" mentioned in the "Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems Instruction" published by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The trial flight was carried out by UAV with a rotary-wing four-rotor and RGB camera. The meteorological conditions at the time of the trial were suitable for UAV flight. Meteorological information was obtained from the UAV application installed on the smartphone. Accordingly, the average meteorological values on the flight day and flight time; The air temperature was 11oC, the wind speed was 6 m/s and the number of satellites connected to the UAV was 13. In the sampling area of the trial plot of 25 m2 (5 m x 5 m), 7 m flight heights, 90o camera angle and 1m/s flight was taken. 1st row of corn plant in trial plot (25 m2); UAV measurements were calculated 8% less than terrestrial measurements. While the Quality Feed Index (QFI) value was 64% in terrestrial measurement, this value was calculated as 68% in UAV measurements. As a result of this study, it was better than within row distances measurements after the imaging processing program related to the UAV.
