America ? Soviet struggle in the Egypt axial in the Middle East (1945 -1973)

Abstract (EN)
The main axial of USA and Soviets sstruggle as England and France lost their influence in the Middle East after the Second World War. Consist of the Arab ? Israel war beginingwith the foundation of Israel state and Egypt wich tried to keep together through Arab Nationalism. The most important reason for Egypt to be the main axial in USA and Soviet Middle East politicsis the revolution in Egypt and to nationalize the Suez Canal. These events created important changes in the politics of the Super Powers, while the Soviets uses the thesis living together in peace, USA tried to maintain both Israel?s existence and not to break bonds from Arabs, However, in this period We studied, USA couldn?t be trustworty in the Arab Middle East. Thus, its support for Israel directed the Arab states to the Soviets. This power sharing between these two Super Powers increased the Soviet influence, but the winner side became Israel, so USA alsobecame the winner. This situation, in 1970?s caused Egypt to leave Soviets and to get closer to USA. That is, the politics Soviets follwed in the Middle East resulted as a failure.Key Words: Middle East, USA, Soviets, Egypt, Israel
