Abstract (EN)
The objective of the study was to evaluate the relationships between grain moisture content during the maturity and grain yield with yield traits. The field trial was arranged with seven maize cultivars with in a complately block design with four replication at the Research Area of the Faculty of Agriculture, Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey in 2014. Results indicated that grain moisture content at the harvesting time of all cultivars were varied significantly and the correlation coefficient were negative between grain moisture content and grain weight (r=-0.832, P<0.05). On the other hand, the relationships between grain moisture content and stover diameter showed a negative trend from 10 days after physiological maturity to harveting time of all maize cultivars (r=-0.535 ve r=-0.730 respectively). Key Words: Grain Weight, Grain Yield, Grain Number, Grain Moisture content
