Abstract (EN)
Mücâhid b. Cebr, Who is a student of İbn Abbas, is accepted as a representative of tefsir of tabiîn era end reported many events, words and also tefsir. He is known as an original represantative with his visiting the palces named in Quran; with his manner, explanation, making the semantic explanations, informing about old arabic times, religions and traditions in Tefsîr, which is accepted to be of him. He is different with giving his own opinion more than his followers. Some had also put hasitations to his tefsir for his references to hebrew knowledge.This thesis is making evaluation through analysis and contrast of reportings told about meğâzi and seriyye ?the battles made in the era of Holy Prophet Mohammed ? between of Mücâhid b. Cebr and the others who had produced similer work as follows: Urve b. Zübeyr, İbn Şihâb Ez-Zührî, Musa b. Ukbe and İbn İshâk.As a result of this research it is confirmed that Mücâhid did not give far more knowledge than those who shared the same era and wrote similar works which were all about reportings told about megâzî.
