Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out to determine the irrigation water quality, and to investigate the seasonal changes of irrigation water in Muğla-Dalaman region. For this purpose, 3 regions (Kapıkargın, Gürköy and Atakent) within the boundaries of Muğla-Dalaman district were determined and the total number of samples were determined from 18 locations; A total of 54 water samples were taken in three periods, namely, October-November 2017 (1st period), February-March 2018 (2nd period) and May-June 2018 (3rd period). EC, pH, Ca +2, Na +, Mg + 2, K +, CO3-2, HCO3-, Cl- and SO4-2 analyzes were performed in the irrigation water samples. Sodium absorption rate (SAR) and% Na values were calculated. The analysis values of the water samples were evaluated by comparing them with the quality parameters. According to the findings; It is observed that irrigation waters have salinity classes ranging from medium to very salty. The SAR and% Na values were determined to be in the 1st and 2nd classes. The chlorine contents of the irrigation water samples vary, but the majority of them are in the 1st class. When analyzed for sulphate content, it is seen that the sulphate values for the 3rd period increase. It is seen that the samples that cause problems in terms of salinity and sulphate are in Kapıkargın Region, and with the increase of water demand in agricultural production, the values increase with the use of water from the wells and the decrease of precipitation.
