Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to determine the fungal disease agents that cause wilt in tomatoes in the greenhouse tomato production areas of Muğla province, to identify the pathogenic Fusarium species, and to determine the susceptibility of the varieties in invivo conditions to Fusarium species, which have the highest prevalence in tomato plants. It was determined that 45,1% of the tomato production areas in Muğla province and its districts, where 2018-2019 survey studies were carried out, were infected with Fusarium wilt disease and the disease was common in plants at a rate of 76,2%. The total number of fungal isolates obtained in both production seasons was 689, and 62,8 % of the isolates were Fusarium spp. isolates were determined. In the pre-pathogenicity test performed on petri dishes by selecting Fusarium spp. isolate, it was determined that 100 % (100) of the isolates were pathogenic. In the pathogenicity studies carried out in pots with Kardelen F1 tomato variety of 100 Fusarium spp. isolates determined to be pathogenic, disease severity values were observed to vary between 20 % and 85 %. According to the macroscopic and microscopic identification of Fusarium spp. isolates, 78 were identified as F. oxysporum, 11 as F. solani, 5 as F. verticillioides and 6 as Fusarium spp. In the variety reaction studies, it was determined that the isolates with the highest virulence among Fusarium isolates belonged to F. oxysporum. As a result of the variety reaction studies, it was determined that Fusarium oxysporum isolates affected the plant more than other isolates (F. solani and F. verticilloides). Keywords: Tomato, greenhouse, Fusarium wilt, pathogenicity
