Muhammad Abdalhalim Abdallah's novalism

The birth of modern novel in Egypt has been started with the influence of Western-oriented movements. This genre, which has historical genes but is new in content and subject, heralded a new beginning with Hussein Heykel's work named "Zeyneb". At the same time, the effect of the authors of the first two generations on the originality of this genre, which is tried to be formatted by adaptation and returning to the old, is great. Mohammad Abdalhalim Abdallah, who is one of the second-generation writers, is extremely influential. Abdallah tries to stage different portraits in his novels by engraving the social, cultural and political problems of the Egyptian society, on paper with ink. By blending the Islamic vision, he gained from his family with his life experiences; he has brought a new interpretation to the people of Egypt, which is not disconnected with the traditional and modern world, depending on its nature and understanding of life. The cores of his identity in his subjects and themes are never abandoned; the understanding of authorship emphasizing his belief and identity is decisive in his language and style. Writing skill manifests itself as a powerful fiction in the display of the basic elements of the novel. The dissertation consisted of two parts. The introduction informed about scope and method of our study, the main sources used in our study, the development of narration-based genres. Then, several literary movements that were effective in the development of the mod-ern Arabic novel were identified. The first part included information about Mohammed Abdalhalim Abdullah such as his birth, family, education life, death, and awards. Finally, the focus was on his literary personality and stages of literary personality, the role of the author in the Arabic novel, and the criticisms directed to him and his works. In the second part, the au-thor's novel was evaluated in terms of theme, staff, narrator and point of view, narration tech-niques, language, and style.
