Abstract (EN)

Modern Islamic Thought covers the whole of convictions and information of Muslim scholars who lives in Muslim societies on religion, society, civilization, culture, philosophy and so forth. Modern Islamic Thought takes the Qur'an as the only measure when inquiring about "the religion which is named Islam today". Indeed, the Qur'an has been referred to as an intact text today although in the classical interpretation it has been tampered. This outside source, especially circumcision, including constituent fiqh tradition, theological, sectarian, all religious texts and mystical texts formed around these methods, insights and criticisms of modernist institutions are further focus. According to the modernist inspired contemporary issues only from the Qur'an can be overcome. Time stamp of Islam again, but this method can take place. In this study, which has an important place in modern Islamic Thought Mohammed Arkoun was investigated. Arkon, has found fame with Qur'anic studies. Arkoun to be addressed in all aspects missing in Turkey has led to recognition. Arkoun Islam, Qur'an, Sunnah, Philosophy, History, Secularism and Politics in the framework will try to correct this deficiency by taking.
