The state of Muhammad Arkoun in the modern İslamic thought

Modern Islamic Thought covers the whole of convictions and information of Muslim scholars who lives in Muslim societies on religion, society, civilization, culture, philosophy and so forth. Modern Islamic Thought takes the Qur'an as the only measure when inquiring about "the religion which is named Islam today". Indeed, the Qur'an has been referred to as an intact text today although in the classical interpretation it has been tampered.
