A study of the life and works of Muhammed Mufti Efendi (1868 - 1946)

Our study is about Muhammad Mufti Efendi, who lived in Erbil in the XIX. century and continued almost all of his life with Sufism and mufti. In the thesis, we tried to make a regular study by examining the poems in his divan written in Turkish, his literary life and the content of the poems. In the introduction section of the study, information was given about the subject, purpose, importance and method of the research. In the first part, a presentation was made about the life, understanding of art and works of Muhammad Mufti. In the second part, the content of religion and Sufism used in the poems was examined. In the third part, information is given together with examples of nazim forms, vezin, rhyme, language and style used by the poet in his poems. In the fourth section, there is the "Texts" section, which forms the basis of the thesis. At the end of this section, a section (Appendices) has been added in which the photographs of the poems, the manuscript copy and explanations about their diplomas are indicated. Finally, the results obtained are listed under the title of "Conclusion", and the works we applied while preparing our study were completed by giving them in the "References".
