Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the teaching methods used in Accounting education. Twenty-three hypotheses were created in this direction and a questionnaire was applied to 372 students studying at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Ondokuz Mayıs University and taking an accounting course. In the research, a scale created by using the relevant literature on lecture, discussion, question-answer, cooperative learning, research and case study methods, which constitute the sub-dimensions of teaching methods, was created. In the analysis of the obtained data, frequency, t-test and one-way variance (ANOVA) were used. According to the research findings, whether there is a difference between the gender, age, department and accounting courses taken by the students and their perceptions of teaching methods and their satisfaction with the methods Decisively tested and significant differences were found in some of them.
