Abstract (EN)

Accountants and their subordinates are under the influence of many factors, but they experience intense job stress. In many studies in the literature, it has been observed that job stress is an important variable affecting job performance and job satisfaction levels. It is obvious that employees with high job satisfaction levels will have high job performance. This study aims to investigate the relationships between job satisfaction, job performance and job stress in order to make necessary determinations and improvements for the future of the accounting profession. The main body of the research consists of 202 professional accountants and employees working in Erzincan. 202 questionnaire forms were evaluated. As a result of the analyzes made through SPSS 21 and AMOS 24 statistical package programs, it was concluded that there is a significant and negative relationship between job stress and job satisfaction, and a significant and positive relationship between job satisfaction and job performance. However, it has been determined that there is no relationship between job stress and job performance. In addition, it was determined that there were differences in terms of variables in terms of gender, education, status, age and working time.
