Muhibbî's dîvân (1000 – 1500. ghazels) (Concordance and functional glossary)

One of the basic conditions for understanding a text in a healthy way is to be familiar with the meaning frame of words. For this reason, both the periodic usage of the words and their contextual meanings in the text are of great importance. TEBDİZ (Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary of Historical and Literary Texts) system created for this purpose provides a great benefit in evaluating texts in context. In this study, 501 ghazals (1000 - 1500. Ghazals) of Muhibbî (Kânûnî Sultan Süleyman), one of the sultan poets, were uploaded to TEBDİZ electronic system and the contextual index of the ghazals was established. The texts of the poems were based on the work "Muhibbî Dîvanı-Whole Poems" published by Kemal YAVUZ and Orhan YAVUZ. When needed, comparisons were made with other publications. The words in the poems were made meaningful within the context of the text. With the help of the contextual index and the functional dictionary, the language and style of the poet and the content of the text were discussed. The index and dictionary created for Muhabbî both for the transfer and for the poetry of Dîvân in general, as well as showing the word staff, understanding of art, view of life, psychology, etc. points and reveal many materials.
