Abstract (EN)
Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that progresses with attacks and remissions. It is occasionally seen in association with other autoimmune diseases. In some cases, the diagnosis of rheumatological autoimmune disease cannot be made and autoantibodies may be positive. The frequency of rheumatologic autoantibodies as well as the frequency of HLA B51 positivity were evaluated retrospectively, including 312 MS patients diagnosed according to McDonald 2017 criteria in the Neurology Outpatient Clinic of Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine between 2013 and 2021. The aim of the thesis was to determine the frequency of autoimmune wastes and HLAB51 in patients with MS; The aim was to reveal the frequency of rheumatological diagnoses from patients with positive antibodies. It has been observed that the frequency of autoimmune diseases in Multiple Sclerosis patients is higher when compared to the general population; some of the autoantibodies are more common in MS than in the general population; some are of similar frequency. ANA is observed more frequently than the normal population; has no clinical significance; HLAB51 has a similar frequency to the normal population. Key words: autoimmune disease, rheumatologic autoantibodies
