Beneficiation chromite ores located in the village of Musalı-Gözne-İçel

The important market reguirement for the chromite ore is the percentage of Çn03 which should be at least 46-48% for this purpose, beneficiation studies have been done on the ore. Taking the mineralogical study of the ore into consideration, laboratory test have been done using shaking table method. The results have shown that the ore can be upgraded up to 46-48 % Cn03. The laboratory results have been applied to an pilot concentration plant to get the most economic production. Depending on the pilot plant results, a concentration on plant has been erected. The preliminary results obtained from the plant has shown a promising concentrate containing 46-48% Cn03 Keywords: Chromite, Concentration of Chromite ores. n
