Prof. Dr. Erdoğan ERBAY Assist. Prof Dr. A. Ali B AYHAN In this study, the "Musavver Muhit, "one of the most important weekly journals of the Meşrutiyet II period, has been examined in many aspects. This journal was published between November 5, 1 908 and August 3 2, 1 909. This study consist of three chapters.Chapters one deals with the situation of the Turkish press during the Meşrutiyet II Period, names of writers and the publication policy of Musavver Muhit. The second chapter talks about an analytical index that has been made with the names of the writers and the subjects. In the third chapter are texts taken from "Musavver Muhit," and have been chosen translated into Latin alphabet.
