After Mahmud II had abolished the Yeniçeri Ocağı which became a set infront of the new being because of the effects of the religon men who can not acchieve the developing world in 1826, the revolution movements got an accelareation and as a little part of that attack Takvim-i Vekayi' began publishing by goverment as the first newspaper of us in 1831. While the revolution trials were accelarating by the firman dated November the 3rd 1839, the new Sultan Abdiilmecid gave, the Istanbul reporter of paper Herald Tribune, priviledge and finance for the first private newspaper. In this way fundamentels of our press who are looking from eyes of a foreigner were laid. As our first private newspapers Tercüman-ı Ahval and Tasvir-i Efkar were published by our West-sympathizer intellectuals. This was followed by the hard publications of Yeni Osmanlılar. In 1867 upon the goverment limitations on publications, some of our press, moved to Paris, London, Geneva and was usually supported by Fazıl Mustafa Paşa. This hard opposition went on until the Meşrutiyet I. After Abdiilhamid IPs authoriter regyme took part instead of Meşrutiyet I, domestic press were fully intimadated. But this press caused opposition to participate abroad, in addition a great some of opposite intellectual were founded inside the country. Our press which were relaxed after the Meşrutiyet II, by hundreds of magazines and news papers raced to take role to determine the new route of the new age. Musawwer Muhit became one of the most efficient ones among the magazines which were published hundreds after the Meşrutiyet II. In this research, by taking misselanous indexes from all the numbers of M.Muhit it was aimed for the researchers of Literature, History, Sociology, Politics e.g. to form a basis who thinks newspapers as the diaries of the nations.
