Abstract (EN)

Our Almighty Book The Holy Quran was transcribed while Mohammad the prophet was alive, it was compiled in the period of Abu Bakr, and its spelling in the mushaf form and its copying were performed in the period of his holiness Osman. Thanks to the reproduction work, unity was provided between the Ummah on the one hand, and the kıraat differences ascribed to the Prophet were taken under protection in these mushafs. However, there were some spelling differences in the mushafs that did not cause any contradiction and harm in terms of meaning. While there was no discussion on the causes of these differences specific to Resmu'l-Mushaf in the first periods, some opinions were expressed on this issue with the development of the orthography system starting from the second century in hegira. That is to say, the issue was tried to be explained with reasons such as the reflection of the Arabic language's writing character on its musfah spelling, linguistic considerations and kıraat preferences. Even there were scholars who based on the thesis that the mushaf spelling was divine and who said that there was an esoteric meaning behind these differences, and Abu-al-Abbas Ahmed b. Muhammad b. Osman al-'Adedî el-Ezdî, who is known with his reference works of "İbnu'l-Bennâ" or "Merrâkuşî", was the main advocate of this view. Merrâkuşî's work titled "Unvânü'd-delîl min mersûm-i hatti't-tenzîl" which he wrote with a scientific perspective by interpreting mushaf spelling through a sufistic and philosophical synthesis, has been the subject of this thesis.
