This treatise on the explanation of the poem Al-Burdah by Sheikh Abdullah bin Al-Sayyid Fakhr Al-Din Ibn Al-Sayyid Yahya Al-Husseini Al-Mawsili, may God Almighty have mercy on him, is considered one of the best initiations on this poem, and the Sheikh, may God Almighty have mercy on him, proceeded in his explanation with a clear approach that he explained in the introduction to his book. He explained it by explaining his method of explanation, and dedicating it to Minister Ahmed Pasha, then explaining the story of this poem and the reason for its creation by the great companion Kaab bin Zuhair bin Abi Salma. Citing Quranic verses, prophetic hadiths, and poetic poems, in order to convey to the reader the meaning clearly. As for my work, I collected the available copies, and chose two copies and relied on a mother's copy and transcribed it, and the second copy matched it with the hollow copy, and established the differences between the copies in the footnote without commenting on it, and then I took care of the text with the linguistic accuracy of the text, and attributing the verses contained in the text to the surah and the verse And attributing the hadiths received to books of hadith and references, and then extracting the sayings that were received by attributing each saying to its source from which it was received, and a translation of every science mentioned in the text and a translation of the books mentioned in the book.
