Abstract (EN)

Children?s literature is a whole in which there are products to lead thinking and interpretation without any negative commenting, in accordance with their psychological and mental developments and in harmony with their native language sufficiency. It is very important for literary products to give suitable products to a child?s life, because they have so much influence on the child.A child at school age enlarges his life area and spends most of his time with his friends at school or in the environment where he lives. Developing positive relations with his equals in this period is very important for his development and being a part of the social environment. The successful realization of this task will influence the future achievements of the child in a positive way.The children?s literature of our country developed extensively since the foundation of the Turkish Republic. One of the writers who produced pretty much work in this area is Muzaffer İzgü. He has a serial consisting of 19 books named ?The Unbelievable Adventures of My Grandmother? which is worth examining for its doctrines. The mentioned serial has so many messages about friendship that explain the importance of sharing, helping one another and long lasting friendships
