On the negotiation progress, in Turkey, airline companies competition power and analysis versus European competititors

Air transport is one of sectors which the fastest growing of the world due to both speed and technological possibilities. This sector is become close to countries and people by making the world smaller, and assist in developing of the world economy by facilitating economic activities between countries. Air transport became a global activity by going beyond national boundries with globalisation. Then, competition concept was important on this sector. Airline companies are able to compete to live with the other companies on the air transport sector. Companies which are able to do this, will serve for a long time. Turkey has to provide to compete companies which is activate on the air transportation which is under transport headline with European airline companies on negotiation process with Euopean Union. At the first chapter of this project, general structure of air transport and present situation and expectations were said in Turkey, European Union and the world. At the second chapter, in Turkey the laws of air transport sector was told. Also, in Turkey some airline companies were examined in detail. At the last chapter, in the EU air transport sector was said. The laws of the EU was told about concerning competition rules. EU?s some airline companies which is flag carrier were examined. Under all data, determining competition power of Turkish airline companies versus European airline companies will assist in transport on the negotiation process.
