Abstract (EN)

Ill ABSTRACT A lot of standardized tests are improved for assesraent of musical talent in the world for musical perception and musical performance. These tests aren't recognized in Turkey by the majority of people and tests about this subject aren't coincide. In this study, education faculty fine art education department music education sub- department in Tukey of the entrance examination a sample of musical talent tests in the world have been done. As a result of this research musical perception test and the performance test have been improved. For this purpose 55 lecturer and 1 14 students of Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty Fine Art Department Music Education Sub-Department, Abant İzzet Baysal University Education Faculty Fine Art Department Music Education Sub- Department, Selçuk University Education Faculty Fine Art Department Music Education Sub-Department have been taken as sample. In order to clarify the situation the scores of the Musical Hearing Area of the entrance examinations have been compered with Seashore Measures of Musical Talent Tests and Musical Perception Test. The validity and reliability the analysis results of a new tool Musical Perception Test prepared by the researcher are possitive. The scores of musical hearing area of the entrance exams and the musical theory and hearing education lessons have been compared. Another aspect of the research which form the musical performance evaluation have been needed. For this reason the questionnaire has been answered by 55 lecturers working at the music departments of educational faculties in Türkiye. Their answers have been evaluated by using statistical methods and the results were displayed in the tables. Apart from this result, in the entrance talent exams the scores belonging to voice and instrumental performance area have been compared with the scores of voice education and instrument education lessons. It's thought that the research would contribute a well-qualified education and accurately measuring musical talents of the candidate music teacher.
